    Clean facility, kind staff, unsafe

I live here and the facility is very nice and clean - small rooms but large bathrooms, a pleasant back patio, and activities on different days (services Sundays and Wednesdays) with visitors often coming. The owners and many staff were consistently kind, giving flowers and making others happy. However I dislike the administrator, have seen horrible staff treatment at times, and have safety concerns for residents. Because of that I would not recommend this place.

    About Paden Ridge

Paden Ridge gives a range of services for seniors since it has assisted living, independent living, memory care, nursing home services, and even adult family home care, which means folks can have privacy and get help when they need it all in the same place, and that's made easier by having a secure building with motion-activated emergency alerts and caring staff around all day and night to help with things like medication, incontinence, bathing, dressing, and even wound care, plus there's housekeeping and laundry too, so residents don't need to worry about those chores or getting around if they're not steady on their feet, and meals are made for everyone with attention to health and special diets like diabetes or allergies, served in a dining room with scheduled times that make it easier to stay on track with eating. The activity side of life is covered pretty well since they offer things like arts and crafts, movie nights, education, and wellness programs, and for those who value faith, there are devotional services, while folks who like to be social or get some fresh air can use indoor common areas, walking paths, and a garden right on the property. The rooms in Paden Ridge come furnished and some have kitchenettes, plus washers, dryers, Wi-Fi, cable TV, and safety features in place, and if a doctor or therapist needs to be involved for things like podiatry, occupational therapy, wound care, or medicine oversight, the community coordinates those visits or helps get residents where they need to go using their transportation services. Paden Ridge is led by Mr. Casey Wigley, the owner, and has been helping seniors for 18 years, though it isn't BBB Accredited, and it does accept long-term care insurance and offers both short-term stays (respite care) and rehabilitation if needed. Staff aim to help seniors keep their independence while providing enough support for daily life, including reminders, personal care, and even memory care programs for those dealing with Alzheimer's and dementia, making sure the environment stays safe and familiar, and while the place has a lot of amenities and programs to keep folks active and engaged, every service is meant to help seniors feel comfortable, secure, and as much at home as possible, even if the building just feels community-focused with lots of practical touches that older adults appreciate.
