    Excellent rehab, poor nursing administration

I had a mixed but mostly negative experience here. Rehab and therapy were excellent - therapists and CNAs were caring, Daisy the floor nurse was fabulous, and activities kept residents engaged. However, nursing and administrative staff were often uncaring, rude, disorganized, and unresponsive; multiple medication errors, stopped/changed meds, and negligence (my mother was dropped during PT and later died) devastated our family. Discharge planning was unprofessional and abrupt, family was excluded, and I filed a complaint. The building, food, and hygiene were alarming (pests, odors, damaged rooms), and administration felt condescending and profit-driven. With major staff education, better communication, and stronger oversight this place could be an all-star - as it stands I would not leave a loved one here.
