Roanoke Health Care Center sits at 680 Seymore Drive in Roanoke, Alabama, and serves as a place where people can get many kinds of care depending on what they need because it offers both long-term skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation, as well as special programs like memory care for people with dementia and secure cognitive care units for those who need extra safety. Residents can get help with physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, whether they're staying long-term or coming just for outpatient services, and there's always staff trained for things like complex wound care, tracheostomy care, and ventilator care, along with nurses and respiratory therapists available around the clock. Meals are made to fit dietary needs, including therapeutic diets for people who need special nutrition, and there's a registered dietician who helps plan that out, plus folks can enjoy restaurant-style dining in a place set up to feel comfortable, with hotel-style rooms and spaces for activities. Ball Healthcare Service, Inc. manages Roanoke Health Care Center, and Clarence Ball owns it, with a nurse turnover rate of 21.7% and nursing staff who average about 2.87 hours of care for each resident every day, which is one thing some families like to know. The facility also has hospice care for those nearing end of life, and people can find support here whether they need independent living, assisted living, memory care, or even stay as part of the retirement community for residents 55 and older, and there are different options like respite care and home care too. Each resident gets a care plan that's checked and updated often, infection control measures help keep people safe, and the team-including physicians, therapists, nurse practitioners, and wound care doctors-work together to help folks maintain as much comfort and dignity as possible, handling everything from sub-acute medical specialty needs to basic emotional and spiritual support, all in thoughtful spaces, some with advanced technology depending on the unit. People can tour the building if they want, and there's always a focus on making things as safe, clean, and supportive as possible for everyone who calls Roanoke Health Care Center home or comes for therapy or specialized medical attention.

Good rehab, but abusive staff
I had mixed experiences. Some staff were awesome-my grandmother got good rehab and they even offer CNA classes-but I also saw dangerous, abusive behavior from other employees. Be cautious; pictures can be misleading.
