Pathfinder - Gordon Tubbs is a dedicated intermediate care facility for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, also referred to as the Gordon Tubbs ICF/IID. This residence was established to honor Mr. Gordon Tubbs, who devoted many years of service to the community as a valued member of Pathfinder, Inc. Opened on August 10, 1989, the facility has since provided a home and supportive environment for ten adult individuals. The residence is thoughtfully designed with accessibility in mind and strives to foster both independence and community connection for all its residents.
One of the unique features of Pathfinder - Gordon Tubbs is its close relationship with the surrounding community, particularly through a partnership with Cabot's City Beautiful Commission. Several residents participate in grounds maintenance along the main highway, which not only offers valuable employment opportunities but also enhances integration and visibility within the area. This engagement has played a significant role in familiarizing local residents, businesses, and merchants with the mission and values upheld by Pathfinder, Inc.
At Pathfinder - Gordon Tubbs, the daily routine, activities, and care are all structured to support the highest quality of life for its residents. The facility is committed to creating an atmosphere where everyone is treated with respect and dignity, ensuring that each individual’s needs are met with compassion and professionalism. Residents benefit from a supportive and caring environment, enjoy meaningful work, and take part in community activities, all of which enable them to thrive and reach their fullest potential.
