About A Place Called Home Residential Care

A Place Called Home Residential Care sits at 3041 Serena Ave in Clovis, California, about 3.8 miles outside town, and the place stands out for its small size, offering room for just six residents in private rooms with private bathrooms, which gives it a close-knit and quiet feeling, and, being family-owned and nurse-operated, they keep an increased ratio of care, so there's plenty of attention for everyone living there. People often mention the high safety standards, 24-hour live-in care, and nurse-supervised staff who know how to support folks with dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, after a stroke, needing rehabilitation or fall recovery, or help with everyday things like getting dressed or managing medications, and, since the staff includes awake caregivers at night and has coordination with healthcare providers, families tend to feel reassured about medical needs being met.

This facility has modern European-style homes with high ceilings, large granite countertops, faux-wood tile floors, elegant decor, and gardens, which makes it more comfortable and visually pleasing compared to many bigger places, and there are community areas, walking paths, gardens, and a dining room for residents to enjoy. Residents take part in a full schedule of activities like movie nights and community events, plus spiritual support is available from nearby churches if anybody wants it, so people can stay active and connected. Meals are home-made and cooked by a 5-star chef, with choices for special diets like diabetes or allergies, and there's always coffee and all-day dining to fit different routines, while housekeeping, laundry, and transportation help make daily life easier, and the staff work to maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment.

Licensed with number 107208852 for over six years and seven months, A Place Called Home Residential Care offers both independent and assisted living, memory care, adult day services, skilled nursing for long-term care, hospice care, non-medical home care, and Medicare-certified home health care, which covers many situations as people age or health needs change, and the care plans are individualized with continuous supervision and support for activities of daily living. The small size, board and care approach, and the family ownership mean that the atmosphere has a more personal touch-staff treat residents a bit more like family than in bigger places. Reviews say the facility has a high 5.0 rating and the highest safety rating in Fresno County, and with a Seniorly Community Score of 5.5, it's one of the top options out of 19 in Clovis for those looking for a quiet, luxury living environment in a custom-built European-style home with tailored care, flat-rate pricing, and a focus on comfort, safety, and dignity for each resident.
