    Homey compassionate care good value

I moved my brother into this small, homey ~30-bed community and have been very pleased overall. The staff - from the administrator to activities and caregivers (Alex especially) - are compassionate, attentive, and often go above and beyond; meals are homemade and delicious, common areas and rooms are very clean, and the gated grounds feel safe. It's an older, not-fancy building with some semi-private rooms and occasional billing/communication issues (third-party visit charges weren't clearly disclosed). Despite that, it's great value and I'd highly recommend it for families wanting personal, loving care.

    About Harvest At Fowler

Harvest At Fowler, operated by Serenity Senior Living and locally managed through experienced Harvest staff, sits in Fowler as a senior living community offering both assisted living and memory care with a focus on personalization and support. The facility has 28 assisted living suites with a range of apartment sizes, including private and semi-private rooms, where each room offers wall-to-wall carpeting, a private bathroom, climate control, window coverings, and options for cable/satellite TV and Internet/Wi-Fi, and the community keeps things well-lit and clean in both indoor and outdoor common areas, so it feels welcoming and safe. Residents get three chef-prepared meals every day in a communal dining environment, and guest meals are available too, which helps bring people together for eating and conversation, and staff help make sure the meals are nutritious and tasty, keeping local traditions of gracious hospitality in mind.

Assisted Living at Harvest At Fowler supports daily activities like bathing, dressing, mobility, and medication management, while caregivers remain on site 24 hours a day with emergency pull-cords in each bedroom and bathroom, so families can feel reassured about prompt help if someone needs it. The staff, trained and friendly, offer help when needed but encourage everyone to stay as independent as possible, making sure to respect each person's choices and needs, and they also offer hospice services for people who need palliative or end-of-life care. The community's Memory Care services give extra attention and custom programs for residents with dementia, focusing on safety, cognitive health, and creating a calm daily routine.

Smoking isn't allowed in any private or public indoor areas, and pets are welcome with some rules, which adds to the comfort for many residents who count on their companions. Residents also find convenience in on-site services like a beauty salon and grooming support, and they enjoy laundry, linen, home maintenance, and housekeeping services without having to worry about chores. For spirituality, Harvest At Fowler provides devotional and religious services on site and off site, including VA aid assistance, trying to meet the spiritual needs of everyone in the building. Transportation comes complimentary and can be arranged for doctor appointments, shopping trips, and community outings, with regular activities planned both on and off the property through a busy social calendar with things like sing-alongs, games, arts and crafts, music, educational programs, Tai Chi, and facilitated outings for those who want to participate.

Each week, residents can find engaging activities designed to support physical, emotional, and social wellness, and caregivers work closely with families and healthcare providers to get the care and activities right for each person. There's a library for quiet reading, a beauty salon for personal care, plenty of bright spots for sitting with visitors, and even a gated facility for added security. The Harvest At Fowler offers options for fitness, group worship, local entertainment, and more, all carefully coordinated by engaged staff who know the community well. Guests and residents have access to parking, and there's always someone available to speak English for support any time of day or night. Suites and services are licensed under State License 107208918.

People can take virtual tours of the property, look at photo galleries, or read updates and stories from the facility's blog when the website's available, though sometimes technical issues like the recent server error can prevent access. Families often mention the comfortable atmosphere, good food, well-kept common areas, and the helpfulness of the staff, and with a choice of floor plans and safety features in place, Harvest At Fowler gives seniors a community with care, connection, and support for daily living without being too large or impersonal.
