    Caring staff, some maintenance issues

I moved my mom here and overall I'm impressed - the staff are wonderful, attentive and genuinely caring, and the facility is clean, bright and homey with lots of activities. Meals are usually fresh and varied, but I've noticed bland/salty or cold dishes and some menus feel repetitive (there's also a dining fee to note). Medication management is generally good, though a wrong-med incident led to a hospital visit that was handled promptly and professionally. Weekly housekeeping happens, but there have been delays, missed follow-through (catheter leak/urine odor on carpet) and some rooms/bathrooms need new carpet/fixtures and better odor control. Prices are reasonable compared with other options but have gone up with inflation; great for my mom, but not the best fit for my father. I'd recommend it with reservations - superb staff and care, just watch for maintenance, dining and occasional staffing inconsistencies.
