    About Brookdale Senior Living

Brookdale Senior Living has been around since 1978, creating places for older adults to live as independently as possible, whether they're looking for independent living, assisted living, memory care, or skilled nursing. Residents can choose from maintenance-free apartments, rooms with kitchenettes, or spaces with Wi-Fi. The community offers assisted living and memory care, with staff who help with bathing, dressing, medication reminders, and even walking and mobility support if that's needed. Those with Alzheimer's or dementia can get care from a dementia-trained team and take part in special programs. For people who want simple independent living, Brookdale has active adult areas for those 55 and older where chores like laundry, housecleaning, and meals are all handled, and there's plenty of social time through clubs, games, and activities. Residents who need hospice or advanced care can also find what they need here, since licensed nurses are on staff and there's access to skilled nursing and a range of health and safety features, like an emergency call system. Dining is restaurant-style with options for special diets, and the kitchen staff can even bring meals to a resident's room. Seniors can spend time outdoors in the garden, relax in the hot tub spa, or visit with pets, since pets are welcome. Visitors often see cheerful staff and a homey environment, plus spaces for guests to stay overnight. Residents can keep busy with arts & crafts, wellness and fitness programs, educational classes, and cultural programs, while transportation is available for shopping or appointments. The Service Care Plan is adjusted to fit what each person needs, so no one pays for services they don't use. For people who qualify for SSI, there are beds and help with the payment process, as well as financial guidance. The grounds are peaceful, the views are nice, and staff always try to balance helping out and making sure everyone keeps their privacy and independence. Brookdale also makes resources like their blogs and signature enrichment programs available, which can help people keep learning and connect with others. This community covers a lot of bases, from living independently to skilled care and everything in between.
