    About Cypress Place

Cypress Place serves seniors with many different care needs and has a strong focus on those living with dementia, with a dedicated Memory Care building that uses both specialized staff and technology like safety bracelets and computerized alerts to help keep people from wandering, so folks can feel safer as they move around the property and families know the community is secure. Staffing stays present around the clock, with nurses, medication care managers, and other support like visiting therapists and a podiatrist on call, while help with daily activities is always available, whether someone needs just a little help or full care including two-person transfers and mechanical lifts-plus, incontinence care, reminders, diabetes management, medication administration, and monitoring for anyone who can't do these things themselves. Cypress Place is wheelchair accessible throughout, has wheelchair accessible showers, outdoor courtyard spaces, porches, large chess, and both indoor and outdoor gathering areas, so residents can get outside in nice weather, visit with friends, or walk the grounds, and inside there's a dedicated dining room and kitchen, a game room, and common areas for socializing, as well as apartment homes designed with senior needs in mind.

Meals are provided, with a Dining Services Director making sure food is tasty and menus are suited for different diets, and dining itself is part of the care, offering a place to gather three times a day. The "WOW! Experience" and programs run by the full-time activity director give folks a variety of things to do, from wine tastings, karaoke, trivia, Wii bowling, music therapy in partnership with MUSIC & MEMORY®, to lifelong learning lectures and community service events, along with regular trips and outings. Cypress Place allows pet ownership and will help with pet care, and if someone has a dog or cat, they're usually able to keep them. The community supports all genders and offers short-term stays and independent living, assisted living, nursing home services, continuing care retirement options, and both full-time and in-home care as needed, which means people can stay as their needs change. The property is designed purposefully for memory care, with a secure layout and technology to keep residents safe, and staff trained for Alzheimer's and dementia care, including support for those who are a risk to wander or may act out. Extra amenities include onsite beautician services, devotional services, maintenance-free living, social day programs, transportation, resident parking, medical equipment, hospice, and guidance for a range of health needs, so whether someone's looking for a supportive place to live alone with a little help or needs more hands-on care in a safe, dementia-friendly setting, Cypress Place offers resources and a reliable staff always ready to help.
