    Affordable but amenities often missing

I chose this HUD-subsidized building for affordability and the friendly neighbors, varied dining program (monthly food box and meal discounts), regular bus to stores, nearby park/lake, and some updated units. But many advertised amenities - pool, rec center, activities - are often closed, maintenance is slow, cleanliness and upkeep are inconsistent, staff presence can be spotty, and parking/elevator/pet fees on the 5th floor are real hassles. Overall OK if you want budget-friendly community life, but don't expect all advertised services; there's a long 2-3 year wait.
