    Compassionate staff, excellent amenities, recommended

I moved into this community and have been very pleased - compassionate, friendly staff and strong leadership (Ann, Sherry and Erin impressed me), a beautiful new facility with great amenities (pool, fitness, excellent dining) and a lively activities program that made me feel at home. Move-in was smooth, staff are responsive, residents are welcoming, and I have real peace of mind and independence. Note: there have been staffing turnover issues and pricing is on the high side, but overall I recommend it for active seniors who want safety, engagement, and top amenities.

    About Hilltop Reserve Senior Living

Hilltop Reserve Senior Living sits in the Washington Virginia Vale neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, and offers several types of care, including independent living, assisted living, memory care, and the Bridge to Belonging program for residents with mild cognitive issues. The community meets strong legal protections in public accommodations, housing, and employment for gender identity and orientation, so residents and staff are protected from discrimination by local and federal law. The building is a LEED Gold Certified apartment community using eco-friendly materials and rooftop solar panels, and you'll notice lots of sunlight, two-level landscaped courtyards with gardens, rock features, a water feature, and mountain views. The apartments come as studios, one-, or two-bedroom spaces with over 30 floor plans per care level, featuring high-end finishes and designs made for safety and comfort.

Inside, licensed nursing staff stay on site 24 hours a day, every day, and residents get personalized wellness plans. Staff can help with daily activities-bathing, dressing, and grooming-and there's medication management too. Hilltop Reserve offers specific programs like the AUGi Fall Prevention, the Touchpoints service for memory care, Compassionate Care for assisted living, and the independent living 525 Club. The Bridge to Belonging program provides mental stimulation and activities for those with early dementia, and there's respite care if someone needs short-term support.

Residents can use the fitness center, a yoga studio, and a full aquatics center, or join in exercise classes and organized social and recreational events. The Holly Fitness & Aquatics Club gives therapy services right on site. Community-wide Wi-Fi, an emergency alert system, and an HVAC system designed to remove most airborne germs help everyone feel safe and comfortable. Housekeeping, laundry, all residence maintenance, trash, and recycling are part of daily living, and daily shuttle and sedan services help residents travel to shops and dining nearby. Dog or cat owners will find pet-friendly policies, and residences are designed to be accessible for wheelchairs and walkers.

Dining takes place in several locations, including the Bayaud Dining Room, bistros, an exhibition kitchen, and outdoor patios, and staff serve three balanced meals every day with self-serve snacks, and choices for outdoor eating. Residents with discerning tastes say meals are both healthy and delicious, and chefs use nutrition plans for each care level. The calendar's got a variety of social and recreation activities, and there are regular wellness and exercise programs as well. The property's owned by Ascent Senior Living Communities, which has a team with decades of experience. The community does not have low-income units and operates on a private-pay, market-rate basis. Memory care starts at $8,455 a month, assisted living at $5,350, studios in independent living at $3,800, and one-bedrooms from $3,995. Every apartment has modern amenities, access to full maintenance, and most utilities included, except for telephone. Residents can also take part in move-in assistance, and Hilltop Reserve actively works to provide a welcoming, secure, and active life for seniors.
