Compassionate attentive memory care home
I placed my mother at Serenity House II and am very happy - the compassionate, experienced staff (especially Theresa, the house mother) provide attentive, dignified 24-hour memory care in a clean, secure, home-like setting. Meals are nourishing, varied and home-cooked with dietary accommodations and little treats; daily housekeeping, laundry, activities and post-meal walks have made her healthier and happier. Medication management and staff responsiveness/communication are strong. It's a small place, so mobility assistance can be slower and occasional language barriers affect participation, but overall we feel loved and fortunate - I highly recommend Serenity House II.
