Caring staff, some management concerns
I chose this small, homey dementia/Alzheimer's facility because the staff are genuinely caring, knowledgeable (even about Parkinson's), and my loved one has received thoughtful, resident-focused care. The facility is generally clean, organized, and comfortable, and I'm grateful for how well my family member is treated. That said, there are persistent staff shortages, occasional broken promises/management issues, and I was alarmed by reports of medication mishandling and some unsanitary lapses; my dad also felt awkward being the only male in a mostly female community. Overall I'm satisfied and trusting of the caregiving, but I remain cautious.
