    Homelike, attentive, medically astute care

I placed my mother in Linda's beautiful home and couldn't be happier. The home-cooked meals (not institutional), medically astute and attentive staff, and Linda's experienced, hands-on management kept everything clean, cozy, and well organized. With a small, caring resident family and hardworking team, her care genuinely extended my mother's life. I highly recommend this facility for compassionate, high-quality senior care.

    About Country Home

Country Home sits in a welcoming country setting in either Castle Rock or Parker, Colorado, and holds a license with Colorado's Department of Social Services for up to eight residents, which keeps everything pretty personal and easy to manage, and the owner Linda Melbardis actually lives on site to keep an eye on things, so you sense a real commitment and it almost feels like an extension of someone's house, and you'll find it's pet friendly too, with Priscilla the cat and Romeo the resident dog wandering around adding some joy. Residents get private or semi-private rooms, and daily life feels homey, with home-cooked meals - three a day - served to everyone, and the facility's small size means the care team really knows each resident well, so personal needs don't get missed, whether someone needs help with dressing, bathing, getting around, or even transferring from bed to chair. Memory care's available for folks with dementia or Alzheimer's, and staff are trained to keep residents safe, with personalized care plans figured out during a one-hour consultation, and there's always staff around day and night. Country Home handles a range of care, including hospice, respite, assisted living, and even some independent living, offering support with everything from medication management to clothing to hygiene tasks, and they accept Medicaid, private pay, and long-term care insurance. There's transportation support for medical appointments, errands, or spiritual trips, and the property's built for comfort with safety and handicap features in place, including a sprinkler system, and there's Wi-Fi, cable TV, washers and dryers, game rooms, a dining space, book room, outdoor garden areas, a hot tub, a sauna or health room, and even a salon or barber space for hair care, plus guest parking for visitors. Activities and social programs go on most days, with things like arts and crafts, music therapy, animal therapy, fitness sessions, tabletop games, and special outings, and laundry and housekeeping help are just part of the normal daily support. They take care of extra health needs, offering things like podiatry, occupational therapy, wound care, nursing, medication support, and even dry cleaning, and staff keep up a focus on the kinds of care older adults and folks with memory troubles or mobility issues often need. Residents can bring their own cats or dogs, and the feeling most folks get is that Country Home tries to keep things simple, cozy, and attentive, with a strong focus on personal comfort and a close-knit daily life, and tours are available for anyone wanting to meet staff, check out the rooms, and see if it fits their needs.
