    Warm, active community with trade-offs

I live here and overall I'm very happy - the staff and residents are warm and welcoming, management is visible, and I feel my family has real peace of mind. The apartments are spacious with in-unit laundry, and the campus has great amenities (movie theater, exercise room, pharmacy delivery) plus lots of daily activities and trips. The food is often chef-prepared and varied, though quality can be inconsistent and I sometimes miss home cooking; some meals feel institutional. Downsides are the high price, limited van/scheduling, occasional housekeeping and management responsiveness issues, and crowds when it's at capacity - still, for a social, active independent-living option in a convenient location, I recommend it if it fits your budget.
