    Respectful caring staff, home-like environment

I placed my grandfather here and was impressed by the respectful owner and caring, approachable staff who always went out of their way. The community has well-kept gardens and a cozy B&B/home-like feel - nicely sized private rooms, pets allowed, nutritious comfort-food dining, extensive amenities, activities and outings (museums, libraries, films, theater), social events with families, and flexible support as needs changed. I was very happy with the individualized, superior care and highly recommend this facility; my grandfather later passed away at his son's home, not at the facility.

    About Pavilion Gardens

Pavilion Gardens is an assisted living community in Hialeah, Florida, and folks there will find 40 beds in a medium-sized setting, with room choices including studio suites, shared and single bedrooms, semi-private spaces, or even two-bedroom options, so there's some flexibility for folks who want a little more or less room, and all have comfortable set-ups with Thomasville Furniture, Cambridge Lighting, and Spanish tiling, plus fully furnished bathrooms and spacious showers, and staff keeps things clean and orderly with laundry and housekeeping services, tending linens and living spaces so residents can relax. Residents can join daily fitness classes, reading clubs, and games, plus go on organized trips to restaurants, theaters, or museums, or take in the community events, social gatherings, and group celebrations that happen all year, and with a lively atmosphere formed by both friendly staff and neighbors, there's a sense of belonging that helps everyone feel supported, and people will find indoor common spaces for visiting, games, and quiet conversation, and a garden courtyard with big trees, potted plants, and a backyard fountain for peaceful outdoor time, plus walking trails and a serene setting with pavilions for small events and gatherings.

The care is aimed at meeting a range of needs, so seniors who want to stay independent but still need help with daily activities-like managing medicines or incontinence, keeping up with mobility through physical therapy, handling diabetes care, or routine health checks-can get personal attention, and support is there if one needs moving help, from bed to wheelchair, or extra watchfulness with emergencies, which is why staff is on the job 24 hours a day, and some staff speak languages other than English to help residents feel at home, and there are skilled nursing services and memory care too, with staff keeping an eye on changes in resident needs and providing tailored care as things change. The meals come from a culinary program that focuses on tasty and healthy food, and snacks are available, which makes it easy to eat well while living there, and meals can be shared with friends in the community kitchen or eaten privately, depending on one's choice.

With devotional services offered off-site, there's a way to keep up with spiritual needs, and amenities like a game room, reading clubs, and a schedule full of activities are meant to keep folks engaged both mentally and physically, so people have options for staying busy or just relaxing with others, and Pavilion Gardens has earned recognition, like Best of Senior Living and Best of Senior Living All Star awards, with an average rating of 8.9 out of 10, so while there's no place that's perfect, this one's well-regarded, and services do come with different types of fees, including a community fee, respite fee, buy-in, fees based on care levels, and a fee for a second person if needed. Pavilion Gardens lets seniors choose how active or independent they want to be, with support in place for memory care, skilled nursing, assisted living, and even independent living, and staff try to ensure daily living is comfortable, safe, and as fun as possible, all while residents enjoy a beautiful, green, and welcoming setting.
