    Friendly home, inconsistent medical care

I visited and found a bright, clean, homey facility with friendly, professional staff, an in-house chef, regular activities, and a welcoming social scene-residents looked well cared for. However, care was inconsistent: I saw impatient or unprofessional nursing, delays with medications and pain management, some safety/coordination lapses and occasional cleanliness or security concerns. Overall it felt like a loving, social place with many excellent staff, but I would watch medical oversight and ask specific questions about pain control and emergency readiness before committing.
