    Mom flourished in caring home

My mom has flourished here - under new owners the small, woodsy house feels clean, updated and truly home-like. The owners and staff are warm, consistent and attentive, give one-on-one care, and involve residents in lots of activities and outings; my mom eats better, socializes more and seems genuinely happier. I'm grateful for the care and would highly recommend it for respite or longer stays.

    About Countryside Haven

Countryside Haven stands as a community built mainly for comfort, accessibility, and ease, and folks there will notice thoughtful features that really do make daily life simpler for people who might need a bit more support moving around or managing regular tasks, and you'll see they have a range of care that covers everything from residential and respite stays to long-term and nursing support, plus that specialized memory care section where the doors are secure and the staff uses both alarms and wearable technology so folks with memory issues can stay safe and not wander off, which is especially important for those living with Alzheimer's or other kinds of dementia. They've managed to keep the environment feeling cozy and clean, with new owners coming in and keeping everything updated, and there's always a good bit of activity happening, since they put on crafts and games with extra help for folks who have trouble seeing, and there's a real push on for socializing so people don't feel alone-whether it's sitting together for a meal that's cooked up by their kitchen team or joining in on community events, games, and everyday chats.

Families appreciate that the staff and aides keep a steady, helpful attitude and you usually get to know some of the caring workers by name, since someone's always there around the clock, ready to help with anything, whether it's bathing, dressing, getting medications sorted, or just offering a hand when someone needs it, and all this happens with supervision and gentle reminders when it comes to daily routines like grooming or taking medicine, and you'll find a few more caring touches with visiting nurses and therapists dropping in from time to time. There's room for pets, too, since dogs and cats are allowed, and in terms of where to stay, there's a mix-private or semi-private rooms, furnished or not, whatever works for the resident, plus you get private bathrooms and emergency call systems for peace of mind. The building's got lounges, gardens for a walk, a game room, library, and beauty shop, and there's both indoor and outdoor spots to spend time in, not to mention accessible bathrooms and showers, which helps a lot for folks whose bodies don't quite move the way they used to.

Meals come included-three a day, snacks too, and they'll accommodate special diets or set up a family-style dining situation if that's what people want, and for those who'd rather stay at home, there's help with home health care, modifications, and technology just to make aging in place more doable for as long as possible. For transportation, they'll give rides, sometimes complimentary, sometimes for a fee, and when there's a need for different kinds of care, say, more help as things change, they'll adjust, since Countryside Haven is designed for folks to age in place and not have to move if something shifts. Reports, guides, profiles, and legal action summaries are all available-so you can look up information and see how they're doing with the rules, since they keep track of important stuff like regulatory issues, emergency plans, and what kinds of services are officially offered. Altogether, Countryside Haven keeps things straightforward, offers the support and structure people need, and tries to create a place where older folks can settle in, maintain friendships, and continue their routines without too much worry.
