Lazy Days Village sits in North Fort Myers, Florida, and you'll see golf carts, bike riders, walkers, and joggers moving along its peaceful streets any time of day, and there are big, still lakes that are nice for strolling around. This place is a 55+ resident-owned community, so most of the people here either stay year-round or come to escape the cold in winter, and everyone seems to look out for each other. Residents can use a sparkling pool, bocce ball and shuffleboard courts, and there are walking paths and social areas that make it easy to run into neighbors or join in on a community event. You'll find groups doing different activities, plus spots like recreational rooms and nice dining areas for everyone to gather in. The staff offer assisted living and memory care, including some specialized help for people who have trouble with their memory, like using certain memory support programs and help with medication. They manage things for those who need more support but want to still enjoy being in a friendly, active place. The place pays attention to creating a relaxing atmosphere, so it feels easy to settle in, whether you want to be social or keep to yourself. Lazy Days Village also connects with people through a newsletter and keeps an online presence about their products and community, and the company that operates here also works with power management and energy solutions-like lithium-ion batteries, solar products, inverters, and backup power-for various vehicles and recreational uses, and you can find technical support and buy some of these items through their partners online. If someone is looking for a quiet but lively community, open green spaces, accessible care, and a sense that people enjoy living here, Lazy Days Village feels like a straightforward choice.

Friendly staff, welcoming relaxed community
I love it here - Jamie and the staff provide fantastic customer service and follow-up, and both staff and residents are friendly, supportive, and look out for each other. It's relaxed, quiet, and welcoming with a nice park and positive social vibe; even as one of the youngest I feel at home (only saw a rude manager once).
