    Impressive facility verify staffing billing

I moved my mom here and overall I'm impressed: beautiful, hotel-like facility with river views, excellent amenities and lots of activities, and the staff are warm, proactive and responsive. The chef/dining and maintenance are strong, though food quality can be inconsistent over time. Management is generally good, but I did see understaffing, some safety/communication lapses (memory-care door issues, billing/PT concerns), and the price is high. I recommend touring - great place for many families, just verify staffing, safety protocols and billing details first.

    About The Crossings at Riverview

The Crossings at Riverview offers senior living services right in Los Angeles and features a mix of independent living, assisted living, memory care, nursing care, and short-term respite care. The facility supports up to 104 residents and is licensed in Florida under License #12642, being part of Priority Life Care's group of communities. Residents can choose from several room options that include shared bedrooms, studios, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom apartments, most with private baths, big windows, plush carpets, vinyl bathroom floors, and kitchenettes. People living here get support with bathing, dressing, and taking medicines if needed, and care is always personalized for each person, with staff and licensed nurses available around the clock. There's a focus on both daily help and medical needs, with telehealth services so residents can speak with doctors or nurses without leaving home.

Memory care services are available for people with Alzheimer's or other dementia, using special therapies and individual plans to help keep people safe and reduce confusion, and they've got a dedicated space called "Along the Journey" for memory care. The assisted living program helps people stay as independent as possible but provides extra support when it's needed. There's also respite care that gives short-term relief for caregivers by keeping seniors comfortable and safe for a little while. Every resident can take part in social events, games, educational activities, and crafts so there's always something to do and each week there are events and outings on and off site, so everyone can stay active and meet others. The staff supports all residents with their daily living and encourages them to try community programs and join support groups with their families.

The building itself is easy to get around, with elevators, hallways decorated with vintage posters, benches, and lots of natural light from large windows. There's a beautiful courtyard, garden beds, and outdoor spaces like a screened-in patio, walkways lined with benches, and pergolas for shade where people can relax outside. Inside, the community has a sun room, a TV lounge, a billiards room, and an activities room for group hobbies or events. Residents use an on-site beauty salon that has a styling chair and hair washing station. The dining area has wooden tables, modern lighting, and serves a variety of meals every day with flexible community cuisine options, while those in memory care have an Apt Kitchenette area with stainless steel appliances and wood-style floors surrounded by soothing neutral tones. There are devotional services offered both onsite and offsite.

People's needs often change, so care plans at The Crossings at Riverview adjust as needed, and staff works to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable, with special programs to improve emotional well-being and create strong social bonds. Regular wellness checks, life enrichment classes, and support groups are part of daily life, and families can even take a virtual tour online and see photos and floor plans before coming to visit. The Crossings at Riverview provides a relaxed environment, practical help with health and daily needs, and a steady routine, aiming to support each resident and their family as needs change over time.
