    Happy resident enjoying caring community

I live at Covenant Woods and I'm very happy here. The staff are warm, attentive and caring, maintenance and housekeeping keep everything clean and well-kept, and the food is delicious. There's a full calendar of activities, frequent outings and reliable transportation-real sense of family and plenty to do. It's beautifully maintained and safe, but expensive and not the best fit if you need 24/7 nursing care. Overall I highly recommend it.

    About Covenant Woods

Covenant Woods sits at 5424 Woodruff Farm Road in Columbus, Georgia, and you'll find apartment-style living and cottages with studio, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom floor plans that give folks options for privacy along with personal services if needed, and the building is surrounded by beautiful gardens, walking paths, and has well-kept grounds, making getting outside and moving around easy for residents who want to enjoy some fresh air or tend to the garden. The community provides independent and assisted living with a continuing-care program-so people can move through independent living, assisted living, memory care, and even nursing care with support at each step-offering help with things like dressing or bathing, healthcare, medication management, laundry, housework, and meal preparation when needed, all handled by friendly, trained staff who're around 24 hours a day, and there's scheduled transportation available for doctor appointments, shopping trips, and group outings to places like museums and botanical gardens nearby.

Meals are planned by chefs and dieticians, with restaurant-style dining rooms serving between one and three meals per day, and residents can join in many activities, social events, arts and crafts, themed parties, and live music, all part of a busy events calendar that residents help plan, so there are things like dances, fitness groups, and game nights going on regularly. The library is full of books and periodicals, a salon and barber shop are on the premises, and people can use coin-free laundry as part of the rate, with utilities included except the phone. Memory care services focus on residents who have Alzheimer's or dementia, with a specially designed area and trained care teams, and the staff can help with things like medication, diabetes, or incontinence care while making sure everyone's safe with a 24-hour call system. Pets like cats and dogs are welcome, so people can have companionship, and the staff provides personalized home care like companionship, daily support, and non-medical help for those who want it.

There's a strong sense of community-with clubs, wellness activities, devotional events, and a member portal to access resources-and Covenant Woods is connected with the Georgia Senior Living Association and takes part in advocacy activities that aim to improve care across Georgia. Monthly leases help with flexibility, the on-site maintenance staff handles apartment repairs, and friends and family can join for events, entertainment, or shared meals in a welcoming, active setting. Covenant Woods is privately owned and managed by Century Park Associates, works with Personal Care Home standards, and has a reputation for good meals and friendly service, helping older adults find both support and independence in a place where there's always something going on, whether it's outings, wellness programs, or just reading a book by the window.
