Morning Pointe at Happy Valley sits on a historic 300-acre farm in Happy Valley, Georgia, just across the road from the old barn and nestled between Ridgeland High School and Rossville Middle School, and this senior living community is designed for both assisted living and memory care, with 58 assisted living apartments and 24 memory care apartments in a one-story, accessible building. The Lantern at Morning Pointe Happy Valley is a special area for memory care, providing care for people with Alzheimer's and other types of dementia, and the staff use programs like Teepa Snow's Positive Approach® to Care, the Best Friends™ Approach, and the Meaningful Day™ program, which help people stay active and engaged throughout the day. Residents get personalized care, including help with bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring from beds or chairs, daily activities, and medication management, and licensed nurses oversee health, safety, and wellness 24 hours a day, with clinical staff always around. The facility has amenities like a spa/wellness room, game room, library, movie theater, activity and fitness rooms, arts and crafts room, and outdoor spaces with walking paths, so residents can relax, exercise, or take part in group activities. There's a Farm to Table dining program with local, seasonal ingredients, plus restaurant-style meals throughout the day made by professional chefs, with special diets like allergy-sensitive, diabetes-friendly, reduced-sugar, or low-salt available. Residents have private bathrooms, furnished rooms, Wi-Fi, cable TV, kitchenettes, air conditioning, and housekeeping, as well as an emergency alert system for safety. Nursing staff manage medication and health needs, and The Weston Group offers on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapy for those who need it. Morning Pointe at Happy Valley encourages social life with group outings, live entertainment, intergenerational programs with local schools, and a calendar full of daily and community-run activities. There are periodic check-ins by staff, incontinence management, and escorting to meals and events, and transportation is available for appointments or outings. The campus is under construction and set to open in late 2023, and there's a sales trailer on-site for those wanting to meet staff or tour the campus. As part of the Morning Pointe Senior Living communities, which span five southeastern states, this location aims to provide seniors with the comfort, safety, and personal care they need, while letting them keep some independence and connection to friends, family, and the wider community, and staff like nurses, certified nursing assistants, resident assistants, housekeepers, dietary staff, and activity directors will be available to help meet every resident's needs.

Beautiful caring staff and homelike
I placed my mom here and couldn't be happier - a beautiful, brand-new, home-like community with friendly, caring, and highly qualified staff, attentive leadership, excellent meals and activities, spotless rooms and grounds, and a calm, secure location. Staff know residents by name, treat them like family, and made the transition smooth. Highly recommend overall; I did have one medication concern that needed extra follow-up.
