    Spotless facility with compassionate staff

I placed my mom at Meridian Meadows and have been very pleased - brand-new, spotless facility with spacious rooms, great meals, lots of daily and monthly activities, cozy common areas and good memory-/long-term-care support. The staff are the best part: compassionate, attentive and professional (Candice, Tomi, Emily and others made us feel safe), which gave our family real peace of mind; it's also conveniently near the hospital. A few reviews mention occasional staffing or communication hiccups, but our experience has been overwhelmingly positive and I'd highly recommend it.

    About Meridian Meadows Assisted Living

Meridian Meadows Assisted Living sits at 2584 E Magic View Dr in Meridian, Idaho, and offers different levels of care for adults 55 and over, so there are options for people who want independent living or those needing help with daily activities, and there are memory care and nursing services for people who need more hands-on support, like those living with Alzheimer's or dementia, which means there's always someone available to help and keep an eye on safety. Residents have choices of private or semi-private rooms, all on a single story, with features making it easier to move around, such as handicap access, handrails, and an emergency call system, and there's always a licensed nurse close by for 24-hour supervision, plus staff helps with medication, wound care, bathing, showers, dressing, and toileting, so everyone gets help with the basics as needed.

There's a big focus on safety-with sprinkler systems, monitored exits to prevent wandering, and other features-so families can feel better about loved ones being safe, and staff will call family or the doctor if someone's condition changes, plus they'll watch weight, oxygen, and fluids as needed, making sure folks don't slip through the cracks. For people who like to keep busy or need routine, there's a set of activities each day, like social events, games, arts, education programs, special outings, and health and wellness classes, so even if someone's having a rough spell with memory loss, there's structure, gentle encouragement, and plenty of options to stay engaged, whether it's arts and crafts, movies, or even devotional services both on and off site.

Meals come three times a day, cooked fresh, with snacks and chef-created menus, served restaurant style in a friendly dining room, and the facility won Best Meals and Dining, so people usually talk about the food being good and nutrition being solid, and for folks who need it, special diets can be worked with, plus there's a snack area between meals. Residents can use a fitness center, a salon and barbershop, and private or shared laundry and kitchenettes right on-site, and there's cable TV, Wi-Fi, and computers for entertainment. Housekeeping and linens get handled weekly, or more often if needed, and there are pleasant outdoor spaces where people can relax, gardens, and porches for visiting with friends and family, while game rooms and big, sunny living rooms give space for hobbies, reading, puzzles, or just sitting together.

Transportation's included for doctor visits, shopping, or group outings, and there's guest parking for visitors, and the place is pet-friendly for those with small animals, so people feel more at home. Staff keep families updated about residents, and there's a review process that checks real feedback from residents and relatives. There are 31 beds for memory care and 32 for assisted living, so the size lets it feel neighborly rather than crowded, and care plans are set up to match what each person actually needs, instead of one-size-fits-all. Advisors help new people learn their options and figure out what fits best, and the staff are known for being kind, patient, and friendly, which makes things easier for residents to settle in.

The facility is licensed and keeps up with safety rules, and there are options like all-inclusive pricing, respite care for short stays, and some pet allowances, but pricing isn't listed up front. People often mention the clean, bright environment, the helpful staff, and the sense of community, and the focus stays on dignity, respect, and encouraging people to keep as much independence as possible, even with changing physical or mental needs, so residents can age in place with less disruption. Meridian Meadows Assisted Living keeps things simple, safe, and comfortable, aiming for a steady, easygoing daily life where people can keep up their routines, try new things, and get a little help when they want it.
