The Loft Rehabilitation & Nursing

The Loft Rehabilitation & Nursing is a family-owned and operated facility with seven locations across central Illinois, including Canton, Decatur, Eureka, Peoria, East Peoria, and Normal, and it focuses on rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and assisted living services for seniors needing different levels of care. The facility offers both short-term and long-term care, so whether someone needs help after surgery or ongoing daily support, there's a place for them in the 92-bed skilled nursing facility, where residents get 24-hour nursing care with MD oversight, medication management, wound care, IV therapy, and management of infectious diseases, along with stroke management, hospice coordination, and Alzheimer's care. Each private wellness suite has its own bathroom, refrigerator, flat-screen TV with cable, and a private entrance, which makes things home-like, and residents eat in restaurant-style dining areas, use lounges, and have access to indoor parking. For therapy, there's a Real World Therapy Program in a state-of-the-art gym where people practice with real items like a grocery aisle, a full-sized car, a kitchen, a bedroom, and a coffee booth, letting them get ready for regular life at home with support from physical, occupational, and speech therapists, and they can use an Alter G Anti-Gravity Treadmill for safer exercise on injured legs. The Loft has registered dieticians, respiratory therapy, social services, and mental health support, and it offers respite stays for short visits, assisted living, supportive living, and memory care services. The staff help with discharge planning, making sure there's a plan for recovery at home, and they work with local hospitals and surgeons to set up care after surgery. Residents get individualized care plans, and activities include exercise classes, outings, entertainment, craft days, and programs for community involvement, all with a focus on comfort, safety, and happiness, so daily living feels secure and as close to home as possible.
