    Cozy attentive staff; limited activities

I toured this one-level, well-kept, cozy facility and liked the neat, small rooms, pleasant dining area and pet-friendly vibe, though the building is cramped between others with limited outdoor views and no curb appeal. The staff and tour guide were consistently attentive, knowledgeable and warm-CNAs worked one-on-one, communication was good and memory-care needs were handled well. There are some activities and supervised outings but few events, limited vegetarian choices, and overall it felt small and not very lively. I liked what I saw but couldn't move in due to cost/no availability and preferred an in-person visit (virtual tour available); my final decision depends on my brother.

Folks can get help with everything from washing and dressing to reminders about taking medicine, and there's a full set of therapy services, like physical, occupational, and speech therapy, making it possible for people to age in place as their needs change. There's special diabetic care, medication management for things like insulin, help for people with incontinence, care for those with behavioral challenges, and the memory care area, built purposefully and housed in its own section, is made for people who need close supervision and reminders, and folks with behaviors like wandering or acting out physically can be cared for safely. The staff is there 24 hours, and the building is set up for wheelchair access, with showers and plenty of room for parking.
