    Kind staff, comfortable upscale facility

I placed my mom here and the staff are wonderfully kind and caring - they really bond with residents (Nurse Kita is wonderful). The place feels warm and home-like with a cozy fireplace, very clean and upscale, spacious/new rooms, plenty of activities (bingo, nail days, crafts) and phenomenal therapists for hospital-to-home transitions. Food can be hit-or-miss - great chef but sometimes just OK - and it's not 24/7 skilled nursing if that's required.

    About Ignite Medical Resorts Crownpoint

Ignite Medical Resorts Crownpoint, managed by Ignite Team Partners LLC and Robert Petty since November 2023, runs as a for-profit corporation with 70 certified beds and cares for an average of 64 residents each day, and offers a broad range of services including independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing, so folks can get everything from short-term rehab after surgery, to long-term care, to hospice, and even non-medical home care, and they've got specialized clinical programs for things like orthopedic rehab, stroke recovery, cardiac and pulmonary rehab, wound care, infection management, and renal disease, plus physical, occupational, and speech therapy seven days a week with high-tech equipment similar to the US Olympic team, which makes recovery more comprehensive. The staff-to-patient ratios stay focused on personalized care, seven days a week, and the facility reports 3.91 nurse hours per resident per day, just higher than the state average, though the nurse turnover rate stands out at 67.8%, which is quite a bit higher than the 48.5% state average, and while staff work to protect resident rights and meet infection control standards, there were 26 documented deficiencies in recent inspection reports, including two about infection control, which means improvements can be made. There are private rooms, luxury suites, a Glow Spa, and a therapy gym, so residents can get their therapies and relax too, and the resorts-like amenities include air conditioning, Wi-Fi, cable or satellite TV, and room types with kitchenettes, with restaurant-style dining options such as room service, a private dining room, bar or pub, and the Fireside Grille with chef-driven meals and outdoor seating by a fire pit, plus the LuxeCafé that serves Starbucks coffee and snacks. There's a full-service spa, a bistro, on-site chapel, senior living apartments, and active adult programs, with community reintegration plans and in-home safety checks before residents go home, so families can feel reassured the transition is looked after. Folks receive assisted living support, including incontinence care, medication management, diabetic care, and non-ambulatory assistance, all the way to memory care for those who need it, and the community aims to give older adults as much independence as possible while also making help available when needed. They use advanced electronic health records and telehealth technology for quick and accurate care, and personal touches like newspapers, magazines, spa appointments, and meal requests are managed by concierge services, often coordinated by the Director of Hospitality, making stays smoother. Customer parking is available, and the facility tries to give a home-like feeling with staff ready to assist, although the number of deficiencies and high staff turnover highlights some of the challenges the facility faces. Residents and families can look at available amenities, room photos, and service details to help make decisions, knowing that the facility offers a lot of options under one roof, whether someone needs short-term rehabilitation or more complex, ongoing medical and personal care.
