Autumn Trace Plymouth Assisted Living gives seniors both independent and assisted living options, so residents can get just the right support for daily needs, and folks can still enjoy as much independence as they're able to manage, and the place offers many services with resident assistants on-site 24/7, which makes it easier for family members to relax knowing their loved ones are getting attention day or night. You'll find care types aimed at helping each individual, from help with daily tasks, medication management, and memory care staffing, to incontinence support, diabetic care, and high acuity needs, while nurses can consult on-site when needed, and there's access to housekeeping, linen service, and a self-service laundry without an extra fee. Folks can choose from spacious floor plans and living spaces with choices like kitchenettes, wheelchair accessible showers, ground floor units, and even little touches such as fireplaces or garden views depending on the unit, plus there's Wi-Fi, cable, and air conditioning in each residence for comfort. The open dining hours mean breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served daily, menus change with the seasons, and dining rooms feel like home where people gather, while snacks and drinks are always nearby 24/7, and there are options for special diets, vegetarian requests, guest meals, or meals pureed if needed, with a private dining room for special gatherings or family visits. The building's ADA compliant, so moving around with a walker or wheelchair is easier, and residents can join group exercise classes, attend church services, play bingo or cards, take art classes, or visit the movie den, while outdoors there are courtyards and patios for fresh air, which families often appreciate when visiting. Planned activities fill each week, like coffee meetups, book clubs, baking, social events, themed dinners, and holiday celebrations, and scheduled trips out for groceries, dinner, or cultural outings mean people can still enjoy the community at large, while on-site areas like the beauty salon and chapel add convenience. Residents can get extra help with daily living for an added fee, and if respite care is needed for a short stay, that's available too, and maintenance-free living means more time for hobbies and less to worry about. Family involvement's encouraged-there are spaces you can reserve for gatherings and the staff supports bonding and connection. The move-in process has guidance and no big upfront buy-in, the monthly fee covers most needs, and the wireless paging system keeps safety and peace of mind a priority, all with 24-hour staffing focused on a comfortable, home-like atmosphere where companionship, choice, and well-being are supported every day.

Beautiful facility, caring staff, costly
I live here and overall I'm very pleased - the facility is brand-new, immaculate, modern and safe with bright studios, 1- and 2-bed options, independent climate control, kitchenettes, walk-in showers with seats, courtyards and plenty of amenities (salon, chapel, movie/game rooms, activity rooms, dining areas, private party room). Staff are caring and helpful, there's a 24-hour nurse with three daily checks, a full activity program (clubs, outings, movie nights) and laundry/meals are generally included - residents seemed happy and it's conveniently close to a hospital. My main issues are the high cost, extra fees for higher care (and an undisclosed $500 deposit), some brochure inaccuracies about room layouts, and a few accessibility shortcomings like doors without push-button activation. Overall I'm satisfied but would advise clarifying all fees up front.
