    Good care, management raises concerns

I placed my mom here and overall we're very pleased - the staff are kind, attentive and involved in daily care, the food is good, the place is very clean, and there are plenty of activities, a lovely courtyard, and a home-like, one-level layout. Mom loves it and has improved; staff help with appointments and communication has been strong. My caution: recent ownership/management changes resulted in decisions affecting POA/banking without family consultation and I've heard troubling reports about leadership and staff conduct - plus occasional service hiccups (cold meals, isolated pest reports). Tour, ask direct questions about policies/finances, and proceed carefully.
