    Caring staff, excellent independent living

I placed my parent here and have been very pleased: staff are consistently friendly, helpful and attentive, creating a warm, homey atmosphere with clean, bright, spacious apartments, excellent amenities, lots of activities and good nutritious meals. Independent living is especially excellent; assisted-living studios feel small, can be pricey, and may not meet needs for advanced dementia care. Overall a caring, community-minded place where staff regularly go above and beyond.

The community offers several care options including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care for those living with Alzheimer's or other kinds of dementia, and a licensed skilled nursing facility for people needing more medical attention, and since it's a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), residents can move between different levels of care as health needs change, without having to leave the campus, and that makes things easier when someone needs more help later on. Residents can choose from spacious Independent Living apartments, Assisted Living apartments, or even one of the Townhome villas if they want more room, plus there are staff around to help with daily activities like bathing, getting dressed, and managing medicine, and a nurse is on staff 24 hours a day with an emergency response system ready in every unit, which gives some peace of mind if something goes wrong. You'll also see the community has things like on-site therapy, both for rehab and general wellbeing, and if someone chooses, home care and hospice services are available through nearby providers, so a resident can get whatever help fits their needs as things change. Amenities for seniors include laundry services, home-cooked meals, individually controlled heating and air, basic cable, cleaning services, and scheduled transportation for appointments or outings, and elevators make it easier to get around, and there are shared spaces like a pub and billiard room, a 1950s ice cream parlor, a chapel, a library, a quiet lounge with city and country views, a TV lounge with a fireplace, plus a movie theater. Daily activities, educational programs, and social events happen on a regular basis, and the Primrose Life Enrichment programs keep people involved with a wellness calendar, on-site therapy options, and even telehealth visits for seniors, and the staff focus on providing care and compassion with their everyday work. The community encourages a social and supportive environment, and the building itself stays up to date with safety features and lot of comfortable places where folks can sit, talk, and feel at home. Virtual tours are available, and they post updates on social media, so family and friends can keep up with what's happening around the community and see how residents spend their days.
