Excellent care, issues with cleanliness
I toured options and placed my mom here because the building, though older, is generally well maintained, the nurses and rehab staff are excellent, therapy is extensive, and there are lots of activities, outings and family-friendly communication. Major downsides: very small double rooms, some rooms were dirty and smelled of urine, food was bad, and I encountered uncaring/rude staff and a poor admissions experience at Bradford (felt like they were hiding information). Golden Living's admissions were transparent and welcoming, so I'm hopeful-staff are caring and quick to resolve issues, but cleanliness and odor problems need fixing.
