The Hazelwood Specialty Clinic at the center takes care of complex health needs, giving residents and the community access to primary care, dentistry, psychiatry, neurology, ophthalmology, audiology, and behavioral health, along with therapy services like physical, occupational, and speech therapy, plus wound care, nutritional guidance, and psychological and behavioral management. An interdisciplinary team sets up each person's care plan, making sure it fits their needs and goals, and staff provide support around the clock every day. The center focuses on personal growth and independence, offering more than eleven enrichment classes each day, along with music, art, and fitness activities, and chances to join community baseball, faith groups, and Special Olympics events. There are work and volunteer opportunities on campus and in the area, helping people learn job skills and connect with others, and programs help with money, meal planning, shopping, and other daily skills.
