The Landing at Cape Elizabeth sits in a two-story building where seniors find a mix of independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Residents can choose from studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, and don't have to worry about home maintenance since staff handle housekeeping, laundry, and provide three made-from-scratch meals each day. The community lets residents bring their pets, and it has handicap accessible spaces along with Wi-Fi. For those who need it, there's 24/7 nursing, around-the-clock personal care, and medication management. Staff also help with bathing, dressing, and daily life for anyone who needs a little extra support. The team's well known for being friendly and respectful, and people say the director's especially helpful and caring. Residents who like a full schedule find cultural and social programs and transportation for outings or appointments, while those with memory care needs get attention in a safe and secure setting made to reduce confusion. The Landing offers private living options and encourages folks to guide their own care plan, with nurses and caregivers always ready to help. The meals aim to be healthy, tasty, and varied. There's a focus on comfort, safety, and keeping everyone involved, whether someone's still quite independent or needs higher levels of care. Respite stays are available if someone only needs temporary help. The Landing uses tech like high-speed internet and links to Facebook and Instagram, so families can stay in touch. The community aims to be supportive, active, and warm, balancing privacy and help, and folks often mention that the staff are joyful and that everyone's treated with kindness.

Peaceful coastal community excellent care
I couldn't be happier with this small, peaceful coastal community - the staff are friendly, attentive and genuinely caring, nurses are compassionate, and leadership communicates clearly. The food is varied and mostly excellent (upscale dining, many options and a 24-hour snack bar) though meals dipped a bit after COVID. Rooms, common areas and grounds are spotless and well kept, and there are abundant activities, outings and outdoor spaces that keep residents active and thriving. It's safe, home-like, and gives our family real peace of mind - I highly recommend it for independent or assisted living.
