    Spotless, cozy home; attentive staff

I couldn't be happier — this place is spotless, bright and truly feels like home. The staff, especially Amy, are warm, genuine and always attentive; they give personal care, offer tea/snacks and serve consistently good meals (some days excellent). The cozy, non‑institutional, peaceful atmosphere and simple sign‑out process mean I never worried about my mother's care.

    About Freeport Place

Freeport Place offers different types of care for seniors, so you'll find assisted living, independent living, memory care, and even nursing home services all under one roof, and folks here get to choose between one-bedroom apartments, studios, or semi-private rooms, which gives some flexibility if you like your own space or don't mind sharing. The staff's certified and stays on-site 24 hours a day, helping with daily needs like taking medicine, bathing, dressing, and getting around, and there's always someone to help if you need hands-on care for more complicated health issues, like high acuity care, incontinence, or memory problems from Alzheimer's or dementia, and they have psychiatrists and psychoanalysts you can see for counseling. The place keeps things running with a bunch of services most people expect, including housekeeping, laundry (with dry cleaning if needed), basic pharmacy help, and even a concierge, and they cover three meals a day, snacks, and have a culinary chef on staff. You'll find plenty of common spaces-some indoors, some outdoors-and the open-concept design and big rooms make the place feel less cramped, plus they let you keep a pet. Residents can take part in chapel or devotional activities, join in games or puzzles, get a haircut from the on-site beautician, or spend time in the arts and crafts studio, the theater, or the games room, and for those who like getting outdoors, there's a greenhouse and outdoor seating, along with scheduled trips out for shopping, medical visits, or social outings. Freeport Place offers transportation for those who need to get to appointments, and they support a homelike environment where socializing and building friendships are encouraged, with regular group programs and events meant to help everyone feel like they belong. Security is provided with 24-hour staff and emergency call systems in case someone needs quick help, and people who need physical therapy or massage therapy can get that here as well. Nobody's pushed to do more than they're able, but staff encourage everyone to keep as much independence as possible. The provider that runs Freeport Place offers personalized consultations with local advisors if you want to learn more, but there isn't any public information yet about what it costs or all the specific terms, so you'd need to ask for details if that's important.
