Caring staff, some maintenance concerns
I have a loved one here and, overall, I've been grateful for the loving, competent nursing and caregiving staff, clear communication, and family-friendly care plans - administration even provided regular COVID updates. Meals, activities, outings, and the garden are meaningful, and the nutrition, housekeeping, and social services staff often go above and beyond. That said, the building and some common areas feel outdated and poorly maintained at times, and I've seen lapses in attention on certain shifts and in behavioral/medical management that are concerning. I recommend the place for its caring staff and programs, but visit in person and ask about rooms and staffing patterns before committing.
