    Warm attentive professional memory care

I moved my mom here and it was the best decision. The staff are warm, attentive and professional - the memory-care team handled our transition seamlessly and care is available around the clock. The community is immaculate and home-like, with restaurant-quality food and plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. It's not cheap, but the personalized care and peace of mind make it worth it - I highly recommend.

About The Residence at Valley Farm

The Residence at Valley Farm sits as a Continuing Care Retirement Community managed by LCB Senior Living, and the place keeps its doors open 24 hours a day, so that family can come visit whenever they like, which helps everybody feel at ease, and you'll see it's got round-the-clock staff ready to respond if there's ever an emergency. The community looks clean and tidy, and there's a warm feeling when walking through the halls or sitting in one of the shared rooms, and folks can choose from studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, or even semi-private apartments, so there's room types for a lot of preferences, and some of them are furnished but you can bring your own stuff if that matters. The Residence at Valley Farm provides independent living for active seniors, assisted living for people who need help with everyday tasks like bathing, dressing or diabetes care, and it's also equipped with memory care called the Reflections Memory Care Program, which supports people with Alzheimer's or dementia using empathy, mindfulness, and expression to encourage self-reliance when possible. If someone only needs short-term help or wants to try out the community, there's respite care available for temporary stays that let people see the place for themselves, no big commitment up front. There are nursing home services too, so people with higher needs can get the daily care required.

Restaurant-style dining happens three times a day with food choices and a chef in charge, so no one has to cook if they don't want to, and meals aim to look and taste good, which people notice, and folks eat in dining rooms that feel like actual restaurants. The grounds show lots of thoughtful touches with a clock tower, nice landscaping, walking paths, and outdoor patios with umbrella-covered tables, which invites people to sit, chat, or take a stroll if they wish. Activities happen every day, some lively, others quiet, with movies, music, clubs, games, spiritual groups, wellness and fitness programs, plus there's beautiful shared spaces like a library, a theater room, lounges, an exercise room, and there are all-day dining and a private dining room for family visits or special events. Safety gets attention, too, with a 24-hour security system, emergency call systems in the apartments, and handicap accessibility all throughout, which helps everyone get around.

The apartments have private bathrooms, kitchenettes, and modern finishes, and people get help as needed with medication, moving from bed to chair, or whatever's required, and the Care Plan Director plus a team of nurses, CNAs, med techs, and Resident Care Associates look after everyone, treating people kindly and answering questions fast. People with cognitive issues get extra care through memory care assistants and the special Reflections program, which aims to help people still feel independent and express themselves. New residents can expect a move-in process that's meant to be smooth and comfortable, and staff help every step of the way, so the change doesn't feel overwhelming.

There's a lot on offer here, from beauty and barber services to laundry, maintenance, transportation, Wi-Fi, pet-friendly rules, and a game room, so residents don't run out of things to do or ways to get help. The Residence at Valley Farm uses REACT Neuro technology for lifestyle support, and has concierge services, as well as hospitality workers like restaurant service associates and housekeepers. The facility runs on a separate pricing system for care, with fees that are different based on a person's needs-there are high, medium, and low care rates, plus charges for respite, buy-in, and second-person stays, so the cost's clearly lined out. This is a brand-new community, modern and stylish, and the architecture-with that clock tower especially-stands out, but what matters most is that people seem to feel welcome and safe, and while no place fits everyone, this community has gotten awards like "Best of Senior Living" for its care and helpful atmosphere. Residents can be as independent as they wish, get help only when it's needed, and stay in a place where visitors, family, and pets can all share in daily life.
