    About JLee House

JLee House was a licensed senior living community that served older adults and vulnerable adults, including those needing assisted living, adult foster care, or specialized care for memory and health challenges, and it sat in a quiet setting with just four residents in a small group home, making it easier for everyone to get to know each other and have more attention and support, and though it closed on March 13, 2023, it offered a variety of services, like help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and taking medicine, plus round-the-clock care, and a secure environment for people with Alzheimer's or dementia, so folks who needed memory support or skilled nursing always had staff nearby. Families and residents liked the all-day dining, special dietary options for allergies or diabetes, furnished single-bedroom units, telephones in rooms, an emergency alert system, wheelchair accessibility, and help moving in, as well as garden and walking paths, scheduled movies and events, plenty of social activities, laundry and cleaning services, and transportation which made life easier and more comfortable. There were larger group care options, board and care homes, family home care choices, and even unique programs and learning materials focused on computers, science, music, and art, with digital access to collections like the Internet Arcade, Old School Emulation, and rare recordings such as Cylinder Recordings and 78 RPMs, plus items like USGS Maps and image libraries from museums and NASA, showing a focus on both care and keeping people engaged and interested. Residents could join memory care activities, music programs, or research and learning using digital media, and there was access to live collections with things like the Grateful Dead music archive and old radio programs, which was something a bit different for a care home. JLee House helped with both independent living and those needing extra support after illness or surgery, offering everything from medication help to meal service and coordination with doctors, and being listed as an adult small group home with just four spots meant seniors got a quiet environment and more hands-on, personal care in a home-like place that kept people's interests and health in mind.
