    About Hayes Road Home

Hayes Road Home sits on a quiet 1.43-acre lot in a ranch-style house built in 1990, with a brick exterior and craftsman touches, and you'll find a mix of hardwood, tile, and carpet across its 2,515 square feet of living space, so there's a comfortable feeling throughout, plus the big vaulted ceiling and front window bring in lots of natural light which makes it feel open and cheerful. The house has single-level living with barrier-free features like ramps, a first-floor bedroom, wide hallways, a stall shower, and no steps, so folks with mobility needs can get around safely, and you can step out the sliding glass doors onto a deck that leads to a secluded backyard where gardens and walking paths make it easy to get a bit of fresh air, and there's an attached 2.5-car garage with a ramp, so parking and storage aren't a worry either. Hayes Road Home is licensed as an Adult Small Group Home for up to six residents, so it's small and quiet, with private and shared rooms, each fully furnished, including kitchenettes, private baths, air-conditioning, and cable TV, plus Internet and telephone connections so residents can stay connected in their rooms.

Meals get prepared using organic ingredients, with careful attention for folks who need diabetic, allergy-friendly, or special diets, and there's a dining room where everyone gathers to eat, while staff take care of housekeeping, laundry, linens, and maintenance, making life a bit easier so residents can skip chores if they'd like. For those who need help with daily life, staff provide round-the-clock supervision and assistance with bathing, dressing, medication management, and non-ambulatory care, always with individual care plans, because every person needs something a little different, and there's a 24-hour call system and on-call staff in close range for safety. Memory care and support for Alzheimer's and Parkinson's are available, as well as incontinence management and rehabilitation, and regular doctor checkups get scheduled with transportation arranged for medical appointments or outings if needed, plus health monitoring and coordination with healthcare providers are part of the routine.

Hayes Road Home makes an effort to encourage residents to be independent and join in community activities, like group meals, movie nights, computer classes, or walking in the gardens, and there are extras like a massage service, balconies, pureed menu options, and a wellness program. The large master suite comes with a tiled dual-head shower, bench, double vanity, a roomy 9x6 walk-in closet, and a linen closet. The kitchen has granite counters, a big island, and quality cabinets, so it feels homelike and easy to gather in. Visitors have space to park, there are pets always welcome, and there's an emergency alert system for peace of mind.

The building is freshly updated with a new furnace, central air, and flooring, while the main floor laundry helps residents and staff keep things tidy, and the spacious basement holds extra storage with a tall ceiling and is set up for a fourth bathroom if needed. Hayes Road Home doesn't take Medicare unless certified, but it is state licensed, and government agencies like the Department of Aging may do regular surveys. Overall, Hayes Road Home offers long-term care in a peaceful, home-like setting, with help and care designed to fit each resident's needs while letting them enjoy some independence and community.
