    About Hill Top Care

Hill Top Care, also called Agape House, is a small adult group home with six licensed beds for people living with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. The home serves one to six residents at a time and provides a close-knit, family-like setting where folks get personalized attention every day and night. Staff have training to care for those with memory loss, and they help with things like bathing, dressing, medication, and other daily needs, which is really important when someone starts needing more help to get through the day. Hill Top Care gives continuous supervision to help keep residents safe, especially since people with dementia can get confused or try to wander, so they've set up emergency alert systems, locking doors, and other precautions, and staff keep a close eye at all hours. There are memory care activities, therapies, and cognitive exercises that aim to help reduce symptoms like forgetfulness or irritation and bring some enjoyment to the day, and the staff work to create a calm and welcoming atmosphere where everyone gets support based on their own needs. Meals are served in a dining room with both scheduled and flexible meal times, and the kitchen can handle special diets, whether for allergies or diabetes, just to make sure everyone eats what's safe for them. Residents' rooms come furnished, and the house has both indoor comforts and outdoor areas like a walking path and a small garden, and there are community activities like movie nights and programs to help folks feel at home and stay engaged. Housekeeping, laundry, and dry-cleaning services cover the practical things, and when someone moves in, the staff help with the settling-in process to make things easier. Hill Top Care keeps up with all state rules and licensing, uses the LARA platform for online services, and has both on-site and online security plans to help protect everyone and make sure care keeps running smoothly. Residents get 24-hour medical oversight, medication management, and support with non-ambulatory care, with coordination between the facility and different healthcare providers, so folks there get all the medical attention they need, and even things like transportation and parking are handled for visits out. The main focus stays on mental health and memory support, combined with stable, skilled care and a peaceful, supportive home.
