    About Range Center Inc

Range Center Inc is a private, nonprofit organization at 1001 N.W. 8th Ave., Chisholm, MN 55719, serving adults and children with disabilities across the Iron Range in Northeastern Minnesota. The center has a strong focus on helping people with developmental disabilities build skills and self-esteem in work, play, and home, and there's always a focus on encouraging positive relationships through different programs and activities. Licensed by the state, Range Center Inc has to follow rules like keeping a minimum caregiver-to-resident ratio and passing health and safety inspections. It's family-oriented and has dedicated leadership, management, and labor management committee teams who make sure people get the right support.

The center provides assisted living services and residential services for adults with intellectual disabilities all day and night, every day of the week, and you'll find supportive healthcare services, staff, and therapy, as well as care for people needing diabetic, incontinence, or non-ambulatory support. There are indoor common areas for sitting and meeting, meal services with provided meals, and on-site activities for residents. Devotional gatherings happen off the property. There are social chances like sports, travel, creative projects, and community programs, so people have a way to stay busy and connected. The SoHo Arts program brings arts activities, an art studio, and a gallery, and the SoHo Arts facility also has room and table rentals, plus extra rental and catering combinations for birthdays, church events, and other large gatherings.

Day training, habilitation programs, and day services run from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM on weekdays, teaching skills for jobs and daily life, and there are vocational services and supported employment options, whether people want to work in the house or in the community. Community employment services and in-house employment give people chances to earn, learn, and take pride in their work. Range Center Inc also connects people through social media, using a Facebook page, and has an online job application process for roles like Direct Support Professional (DSP). The center rents tables and chairs for outside events, too. Everything the organization does is about helping people reach their goals and feel valued through meaningful activities, support, and connections.
