Peaceful Living is a residential care home in St. Paul that has a warm, friendly feeling with staff who care for people and help them with everyday tasks, and the place makes space for ten uniquely furnished bedrooms so people can really feel like they have their own spot, with two large kitchens and living areas, and a private lounge where friends and family can come visit anytime they want, and for those who love being creative, there's an art studio set aside for arts and crafts, plus onsite and offsite activities that include daily physical, creative, social, learning, and spiritual programs so everyone stays active, connected, and learning new things while devotional services are also offered for those who want them. The staff at Peaceful Living includes nurses on site, and there's an RN on call 24 hours every day, while podiatrists, dentists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists come in as needed, and the care team can also provide help with medicines, reminders, high acuity care, diabetic care, and incontinence care. Residents can get help with personal hygiene, meals, laundry, and housekeeping, and three well-balanced meals are served each day, with healthy snacks, diabetic meals, and low-sodium choices available when needed. The facility is accessible, with wheelchair friendly ramps, an elevator, large roll-in showers, grab bars in the restrooms, and they welcome both men and women from different backgrounds, even allowing some pets to come live with residents, while no smoking is allowed inside. There's transportation to clinics, errands, and appointments, plus parking for residents who need it. Indoors and outdoors, you'll find shared spaces for gathering, a dining room, game room, TV/media area, and gardens, and laundry is taken care of too. Short-term or respite stays are possible for those who need a temporary safe place to recover or take a break, and hospice is also an option, making it possible for people to remain as comfortable as possible. Safety and comfort seem to be top priorities, with caring staff available at all hours and features that help folks stay as independent and happy as possible. Peaceful Living is located near parks, shopping, museums, and hospitals, which means people have plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy the community if they want or have a nice, cozy place to come back to when they're done.
