Homey community with responsive staff
I lived at Kirkwood and loved it - homey, centrally located and close to everything, with welcoming gathering spaces, frequent activities, and a wonderful, responsive staff who went above and beyond (next-day assistance and regular safety inspections). The community is awesome and many long-term residents seemed happy. Downsides: they stopped providing meals and housekeeping and there's no safe place for smokers. I needed a higher level of care and was sad to leave; I hope to return.
