Friendly safe active senior living
I live at Maranatha Village and overall I'm very pleased. The staff are friendly and attentive, the campus is clean, safe, quiet and beautifully wooded. There are many housing options (studios, private and double rooms, suites, apartments, houses) with wheelchair-friendly bathrooms, though some rooms are smaller and storage is limited. Medical care is strong - on-campus hospital, doctors, therapists, medication assistance and a full continuum of care - plus shuttle service. Activities are active and meaningful (chapel, bingo, Bible study, arts & crafts, guest speakers) and dining is generally good, but menus/timing can be limited and meals sometimes arrive cool. It's an older, well-maintained place with a cheery feel; I'd highly recommend it.
