Lovely grounds but management unreliable
I live here and love the private, condo-like units, beautiful grounds (100 acres), friendly staff and residents, and on-site amenities like the community center, beauty shop and fishing lake. I enjoy the activities and variety of living options and find the facility clean, peaceful and good value for rent. I also find management often unresponsive - maintenance requests and messages are slow, trash pickup is sometimes missed, and cable service is poor. I've experienced accounting/billing problems and unexpected extra charges; medical care can be very costly. Safety/transport to activities is unreliable - a welfare check once took 45 minutes with no follow-up. Overall it's lovely in many ways, but I'd be cautious about management, fees and potential medical costs.
