Bright compassionate care; minor concerns
I moved my sister here and overall I'm impressed: bright, new, very clean, light-filled "apartments" with bay views, courtyard and patio. The staff feel like family - professional, caring, well trained for dementia care, med schedules and weekly visiting nurses - and residents are active and happy (lots of programs and karaoke). Food is fresh, varied and usually delivered to tables. My only concerns were admissions seeming unprepared and occasional staffing/laundry/cleaning lapses (I was alarmed by one care incident), so I suggest an unannounced visit and asking about current staffing. Despite that, I'd recommend Harmony Homes for the compassionate team, beautiful setting and high level of care.
