    Warm attentive staff and clean

I moved my mom to Langdon and have been very happy - the staff are warm, attentive and professional, move-in was smooth, and the apartment and common areas are clean, cozy and well-maintained. Meals are good with personalized options, activities (tea, movie nights, pool, outings) keep residents engaged, and nursing/therapy/housekeeping teams provide excellent, compassionate care and communication. Admissions staff (Denise/Nancy especially) were extremely helpful, and transportation/amenities add real value - memory care is caring but often has a waitlist. A few hallways/rooms feel dated and pool access can be limited, but overall I'm grateful and would highly recommend Langdon.

The whole community is built so everyone, whether in a wheelchair or using a walker, can get around easily, with wheelchair accessible showers, full tubs, and accessible common spaces, and you won't have trouble getting in or out if you're using mobility devices. Residents can find safety features like fireplaces with protections and layouts that help keep folks active and secure, and there's extra focus on health with medical help available, including diabetic care, medication help, and incontinence care if needed. Seniors can enjoy things like an outdoor patio garden, a swimming pool, hot tub, indoor fitness center, and common areas with things like fireplaces, pianos, and Wi-Fi, and you can bring your pet if you'd like company. The beauty salon and barber shop are inside the community, and folks can even get special hearing services on site or through a mobile clinic, which handle everything from hearing aid fittings to earwax removal, along with resources about managing hearing loss, and the center serves veterans and offers programs and services with a focus on diversity and inclusion for all residents.
