    Upscale community with superb staff

I live here in a beautiful, new, upscale apartment with lovely grounds and a great location. The staff are superb - friendly, attentive, and helped my mobility with effective physical therapy; meals are healthy and there are daily activities (second-floor programs and outdoor concerts). It's integrated with independent living, but not as dog-friendly as advertised (strict dog rules) and it's pricey - still, I would recommend it.

    About Clark Meadows

Clark Meadows stands as an enriched living community where folks can find a safe and comfortable apartment, with choices like different floor plans and even a virtual tour that lets people see things before they move in, and the place has a 24-hour help service for daily tasks so residents get support when needed but can still keep their independence because that seems to matter to a lot of people. The staff here, from the program manager and executive director to the lifestyle coordinator, care coordinator, and case manager, focus on tailored care for every person, meaning some get independent living if they're active and healthy, some need assisted living with help for bathing, dressing, or medication, and others sometimes need short stay respite, or even memory care designed for folks with dementia or Alzheimer's where wandering and confusion stay low because they have special therapies and housing. Clark Meadows pairs daily exercise with a packed activity calendar, and the lifestyle coordinator keeps it lively with group events so everyone finds a way to stay engaged, plus residents can get out and about thanks to transportation services, or even take part in community talks for some learning.

Meals matter here and they're taken care of by a dining services team led by an Executive Chef, so everybody gets three restaurant-style meals made with nutritious, quality ingredients every day, and, for folks who want a bit of pampering, there's an on-site salon right there, too. Apartments come with kitchenettes and cable access, emergency call pendant systems, and services like medication management, laundry, housekeeping, and Omnicare pharmacy support, while people with more complicated care needs can get incontinence care, diabetic help, non-ambulatory care, or even home care with aides for non-medical companionship, plus UR Medicine Geriatrics Group provides medical support right at the community for ongoing needs. The community stays connected to residents and families by offering a special "Clark Meadows Newsletter," a blog with testimonials, a contact-a-resident feature, and an easy FAQ section to answer tough questions so everyone feels comfortable.

When it comes to health, Clark Meadows stretches far with care like routine medical, emergency medicine, women's health and birthing center classes, orthopedic departments, pediatrics for grandkids, pain management, pulmonary care, diagnostic imaging with services like CT or mammography, sleep and stroke centers, rehabilitation, dialysis, cardiopulmonary support, laboratory testing, and more, and there are even services like occupational medicine or bariatric surgery for those who need it. The focus always comes back to living with dignity, getting help when it's needed, and having choices every day-whether that means organizing discharge and advocacy, exploring the grounds through a virtual tour, or asking for help with little things like daily activities, because everything gears toward a comfortable, active, and caring community for seniors and their families.
