Wells Nursing Home Inc has served the community for over 45 years, and the building has 100 licensed beds for long and short term care, so you'll see residents getting care around the clock from licensed nurses and aides, and some folks come in for outpatient rehab services like physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, all under skilled nursing care. The place stays friendly, with a sense of community and chances to make friends, and people can spend time in a Resident T.V. Lounge or outside in the courtyard, where you'll see ponds with fish and comfortable seats for sitting in the sun. There's always something happening with planned daily activities like movie nights, church services, parties, and the beauty parlor right inside for hair care. Residents get daily help, including 24/7 nursing care, housekeeping, laundry, and medical social services, with different therapies and treatments offered on site, such as IV therapy, wound care, lab, dental, radiology, podiatry, and optometry services, plus scheduled or emergency medical attention as needed. Wells accepts Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and long-term care insurance, admitting residents from home or a community facility after going through a screening called the PRI process. Every resident has access to nutritional help from a registered dietitian, psychiatric and psychological support, and hospice or palliative care if needed. Folks can email their loved ones using Resident Email, and there's a semi-private room option for those who want to share. Right now, the adult day health programs are closed until further notice, but outpatient therapy is available, and the staff is there to help meet each resident's needs with the goal of providing high-quality care in a safe and comfortable place.
