    About Vineyards at Mount Sinai

Vineyards at Mount Sinai sits in a quiet spot in Mount Sinai and offers different care levels and lifestyle options for older adults, including independent living, assisted living with the Bristal Assisted Living at Mount Sinai, memory care for people with dementia or Alzheimer's, skilled nursing for those who need rehabilitation or wound care, and continuing care so residents can age in place as needs change, and there are board and care homes too, and the whole place is for people aged 55 and better. The community has 85 attached homes with modern layouts, each with two bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, a one-car garage, and features like big kitchens with stainless appliances, cozy breakfast nooks, open living areas with hardwood flooring, cathedral ceilings, energy-efficient heating and cooling, and designer bathrooms with large mirrors and granite or Sylestone countertops, plus full-size laundry areas, and there are both one-car and two-car garages in some homes, poured concrete patios, and private driveways, while the whole construction includes energy-efficient windows, well-sealed walls, fire caulk, top brand fixtures, and warranties on both construction and appliances, so people don't have to worry about upkeep. The floor plans include options named Moscato Classic, Barolo, Barolo Classic, and Malbec, and there are full basements for extra space.

Support services offer help as needed in independent living, and assisted living and memory care residents get 24-hour support, help with daily activities, medication management, meals, and personal care, and those with complex medical conditions get nursing care and rehabilitation, while memory care areas stay secure and run special dementia programs. There's respite care for short-term stays, plus skilled nursing for those recovering from hospital stays or dealing with wound care problems. Residents can stay social and active if they want, thanks to a clubhouse called The Vineyards Club, which is over 4,800 square feet and has a bar, billiards room, card room, fitness center, big great room with a fireplace and TVs, Wi-Fi, and a large outdoor patio, and the grounds have a garden, a swimming pool, tennis and bocce ball courts, paved trails for walking or biking, and areas to gather outside. People here join social events, club meetings, and community activities, and the setting encourages hobbies and meeting new friends. Living at Vineyards at Mount Sinai means neighbors are peers, and help is available when needed, but everyone gets to keep their independence with easy-maintenance homes, and there are opportunities for recreation and relaxation. The sales office is open afternoons through the week, plus weekends, but closed outside those hours. Ornstein Leyton Company is involved, and Niche.com named it one of the Top 50 Places to Retire in New York. The whole place runs as a secure, active retreat for people who want to live in a nice home, take part in community life, and know care's close by if needed.
