    Good staff, poor overall care

I visited/used this facility and found a mixed experience. I liked that the staff I met were attentive, respectful, and treated residents like family, the smaller patient load showed in some good care, meals were adequate (limited variety but improving), and there are outdoor spaces plus occasional live music. However, overall care is inconsistent and often poor: high staff turnover, staff sleeping on duty, neglect, residents getting hurt, delayed hospital transfers, and failed transportation to doctor appointments. Management is nasty and aggressively billing/taking money quickly; the place is advertised non-smoking but is smoke-filled and unhealthy. I would not recommend it - great individual staff, but serious systemic problems, so look elsewhere.

This licensed Adult Care Home has 80 beds and welcomes pets, with different kinds of rooms including private and shared suites or studio apartments, most having kitchenettes, and you'll find amenities that matter to seniors, like a beauty salon, a library, meal service, and on-site devotional activities, and there's laundry, transportation, Wi-Fi, and cable to keep everyone connected. Residents can join in activities on and off-site, and there's respite care if families need a break, support and referral services, clinical help, and even help with planning, and if home care or hospice are needed there's help for that, too. There's Alzheimer's and memory care with housing and therapies built to address special needs, with services meant to give older adults as much independence as they're able while still having help handy, and residents can enjoy a relaxed life with games, crafts, movies, plenty of conversation, and both indoor and outdoor activities, so folks can feel safe and at home while families have peace of mind.
