    Excellent therapy, inconsistent nursing care

I had a mixed but overall positive stay. The facility is clean, renovated and comfortable, and the staff-CNAs, nurses, PT/OT and many admins-were warm, professional and often go above and beyond (therapy was excellent and made a real difference). Food was hit-or-miss (warm and good at times, but sometimes institutional/cold), and a few meals needed improvement. My biggest concerns were inconsistent nursing oversight: chronic understaffing, slow or missed responses to call lights/phones, communication lapses and a few safety/medication issues. I'd recommend this place for short-term rehab because of the top-notch therapy and caring team, but be cautious about long-term placement until staffing and nursing accountability improve.
